Date: 20-03-2009 Model: Cristina Location: Abandoned restaurant Equipment used: Nikon D80, Nikkor 50mm 1.8, Nikon sb-600. Info: The day was very cloudy so the flash has been used combined to the natural light. This time I used a Lastolite ezybox to soften the light from the flash and I think this changed a lot the things, I recommend it if you like portrait shots. Thanks to the model who posed inspite of the low temperature.
Same exploration of the previous post, this shot is perfect to show the atmosphere and the vastity of the place.
A bit of a haze can be seen in the distance, in my opinion that gave to the shot a more dramatic appearance, the perspective and the wideangle did the rest.
I found extreme beauty in that place, hope you can appreciate it … the weather was fine, the scenography perfect, with the light filtering through the ceiling and the nature growing again.
